Shareholder

Joe began his legal career as an associate with Buckley Seacord & Justice, PA in 2000 and was named a shareholder in 2007. He is AV Rated by Martindale-Hubbell since 2012 and was a Rising Star with Florida Super Lawyers from 2012-2015.

Joe’s practice focuses exclusively on civil matters. He represents large utility companies in civil liability litigation matters, including electrical contact cases, fire damage cases, loss of service cases and general liability cases; health care providers in medical malpractice actions and administrative actions, including Florida Birth-Related Neurological Injury Compensation Act hearings and disciplinary actions; drivers, employers of drivers and owners of vehicles in auto accident defense cases; distributors of products in product liability cases; and premises owners in premises liability and fire damage cases. He has also handled numerous appeals before the District Courts of Appeals of Florida, including appeals involving the Florida Birth-Related Neurological Injury Compensation Act, discovery issues, premises liability issues and contract issues.

Joe is a father of three sons and an active parishioner at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church.  He serves on the Parish Council and is involved in several other ministries, including the Family Life and Marriage Ministries. Along with his wife, Kimberly, Joe gives presentations to engaged couples about communication issues as they prepare for marriage. Outside the office, Joe is an avid photographer whose favorite subject is his family.
